Only I have the ability to control how I feel about things. I am honest with myself in all situations and accept my decisions.
Peace of mind comes from having faith that I am making the ideal choice for myself. It is difficult to be at peace with a choice when it is made only to keep others happy.
The career choices that I make come from searching for opportunities that offer me growth. Although my work sometimes results in distance between me and loved ones, I still move ahead.
My own goals drive what I decide to do.
When I know that I have a valid and sincere reason for doing something, I am able to release any feelings of guilt.
I sleep well at night when I avoid social gatherings with confrontational people. Although I sometimes miss out on opportunities, I prefer to have my soul at ease. The right opportunity for me is out there waiting for me.
Inner peace comes from considering the feelings of others but then making my own decisions.
Their response to my decisions is their concern.
Living for myself means being courageous enough to stand behind my choices. When I walk away from what others think may be best for me, I do it with love and respect.
Today, I am truly and wholly at peace because I am confident in myself. I know what is good for me and I stay loyal to that.
