Are you making time to relax this summer?

If not, you might find affirmations helpful. An affirmation is when you talk about something you would like to happen as if it already has. For example, if you are usually someone who works all the time, your affirmation might be;

I find it easy to relax and enjoy life.

I have a cheerful view of life that I reinforce with relaxation. This dual approach allows me to overcome life’s challenges with a smile on my face. Any challenge is reduced in size when I am relaxed and enjoying myself.

I allow myself to enjoy periods of time filled with fun and playfulness. I know that being serious all the time is harmful to my emotional well-being. I seek out opportunities to laugh and enjoy myself.

Total relaxation helps me to make wise decisions. My mind is clearest when I am relaxed.

Regardless of the situation, I can find inner peacefulness. I relax easily.. I can relax at home, work, or out in public. Any location or situation is conducive for me to achieve relaxation.

When I relax, my mind provides the answers to my questions. The more relaxed I feel, the better the answers I receive.

I enjoy life fully. I can find enjoyment in all activities. Just being alive and free is reason to be happy. I am grateful for the people and opportunities in my life. I know that even greater things are on the horizon.

Today, I am relaxed and happy. I am taking every opportunity to smile at life. I am looking forward to experiencing a wonderful day.
